Alarm in Methoni after Sea Mine Spotted near Kritika Beach

An alarm was raised in Methoni after a possible sea mine was spotted near Kritika beach.

A private citizen informed the Coast Guard about the presence of explosive ordnance in the area. According to the announcement, the object, possibly a mine, is located approximately 10 meters from the shore and at a depth of 1.5 meters.

The Pylos Coast Guard has placed signage in the area and informed the competent services for further action.
