Bodies Identified in Fatal Limassol Vehicle Fire

The charred bodies found in a vehicle in the Limassol province have been identified as Dimitris and Maro Filippidis.
According to police, on July 23, 2025, during a fire, a burnt vehicle was discovered on the Monagriou - Alassa road. Two charred bodies were found inside the vehicle.
The autopsies, conducted on July 25, 2025, indicated the cause of death as charring. Samples were taken for scientific examination for identification purposes.
It was confirmed that the deceased are Maro Filippidis, 77, and Dimitris Filippidis, 81, former residents of Limassol. The Limassol TAE is continuing its investigation.
