Fatal Accident in Aglantzia: Driver to Face Charges

A significant development in the case of the fatal traffic accident that occurred on Larnakos Avenue in Aglantzia on July 29, 2025, where 20-year-old Kyriakos Antoniou lost his life.

The 25-year-old driver of the vehicle that collided with Kyriakos will face criminal charges. The Nicosia Traffic Police had sent the file to the Legal Service, recommending criminal prosecution due to speeding (exceeding the 50km/h limit).

Initially, the Police recommended 7 offenses against the driver. After clarifications requested by the Legal Service, the file has been re-submitted for the necessary procedures.
