Fatal Accident in Limassol: Hemorrhagic Shock the Cause of Death for Giorgos

An autopsy was conducted today on the body of Giorgos Georgiou, who lost his life in a traffic accident on the old Limassol - Nicosia road.
According to forensic pathologist Angeliki Papetta, the 51-year-old's death was due to hemorrhagic shock resulting from multiple injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the van involved in the accident was arrested and placed under 5-day detention, as he allegedly entered the opposite lane under the influence of alcohol and without a driver's license or insurance.
It is noted that the victim was wearing a protective helmet.
