Fatal Accident in Aglantzia: Prosecution Recommended for 24-Year-Old

The file regarding the death of 20-year-old Kyriakos Antoniou in a traffic accident on Larnakos Avenue in Aglantzia on July 29, 2025, is nearing completion.

Nicosia Traffic Police are recommending the prosecution of the 24-year-old driver, who allegedly was speeding. According to OmegaLive, the Police have all the necessary results, and the coroner's report is awaited before the file is sent to the Legal Service.

It was found that the 24-year-old's speed was well above the permitted limit of 50 km/h. The Legal Service will decide whether the driver will be referred to Court.
