Fatal Accident: Multiple Injuries to Cyclist

A severe head injury and multiple injuries to the body and vital organs were revealed as the cause of death for the 60-year-old cyclist, according to the autopsy conducted by forensic pathologist Orthodoxos Orthodoxou.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the fatal accident that occurred on the afternoon of Monday, November 3, 2025, on the Pissouri-Plataniskia road.

The victim, Gunter Kohrgruber, a doctor from Austria, was part of a group of Austrians who were in the area for cycling. The accident occurred when the 60-year-old, on a bend in the road, entered the opposite lane of traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old.
