Fatal Accident in Limassol: 17-Year-Old Dead

A tragic traffic accident occurred in Limassol on the evening of Saturday, October 4th, claiming the life of a 17-year-old motorcyclist. Ali Tzalaloutin, born on November 27, 2007, died in the accident.

According to initial reports, the accident happened at 21:20 when the young man was riding a motorcycle on Piraeus Street. Witnesses report that he was speeding and failed to stop at a STOP sign at the intersection with Souliou Street, resulting in a collision with a passing vehicle.

Newer information indicates that the 17-year-old was speeding and honking before the collision. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to confirm the witness reports.

The 34-year-old driver of the car underwent alcohol and drug testing, with negative results. The motorcycle driven by the 17-year-old had been reported as stolen.
