Fatal accident in Limassol: 26-year-old scooter rider dies

A road accident in the Limassol district turned fatal, claiming the life of **Lakpadoma Sherpa**, 26 years old, from Nepal. The young woman succumbed to her injuries last night following a collision involving an electric scooter.

The accident occurred on February 10, 2026, when a car driven by a 52-year-old collided with the 26-year-old's electric scooter on **Nikos Pattichis Street** in Limassol.

Lakpadoma Sherpa was taken to a hospital with multiple skull fractures, where she was being treated while intubated. The car driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs.

According to the police investigation, the 26-year-old, while riding the electric scooter, attempted to turn right at a traffic light that was green in both directions, resulting in a collision with an oncoming car.

The **Limassol Traffic Police** are continuing their investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
