Fatal Traffic Accident in Nicosia: 20-Year-Old Dies

A 20-year-old from India, YASHAPREET SING, succumbed to his injuries this morning following a traffic accident that occurred on August 1, 2025, in Nicosia.

The 20-year-old was being treated in critical condition at Nicosia General Hospital. According to the police, he was riding a motorcycle on Strovolos Avenue when, under circumstances under investigation, he lost control, hit a sidewalk, and overturned.

Nicosia Traffic Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
