Ypsonas: School Guard Attacked with Molotov Cocktails

A serious incident of violence occurred in Ypsonas, Limassol, with a school guard of the 3rd Elementary School of Ypsonas as the victim. The guard was attacked by a group of unknown individuals who threw Molotov cocktails at him, causing burns to his face.

According to OMEGAlive, the incident occurred around 21:30 when the guard approached a group of people in the schoolyard and asked them to leave. Instead of complying, they attacked him.

The injured man was taken to the hospital, and his health condition is stable. Herodotus Herodotou, Director of the Western Limassol School Board, described the incident as an "attempted murder" and stressed the need for everyone to take responsibility, emphasizing the role of the family in addressing such phenomena.
