Vorizia: New detentions of Fanouris Kargakis' relatives

A new police operation took place in Vorizia, resulting in the detention of two relatives of Fanouris Kargakis, who was killed last Saturday.

Authorities are searching for the weapons used in the massacre. A 43-year-old, Kargakis' brother-in-law, was arrested for weaponry found in a cave on his property. The involvement of another person who was allegedly with him is under investigation.

ELAS spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou told SKAI that investigations are continuing to locate the weaponry and other involved parties. Police presence in the area will remain for the safety of residents.
