Christodoulides on Larnaca shootings: Immediate deportation of foreigners

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, described the incidents in Larnaca as "unacceptable" and announced drastic measures.

In his statements, Mr. Christodoulides mentioned that he has been in contact with the Minister of Justice since Saturday.

Regarding the involvement of foreigners, he stated that they will be arrested, immediately deported, and placed on a stop list. For Cypriot citizens, he emphasized the need for "exemplary punishment."

The President described the images that came to light as unacceptable.
