The parents of the 37-year-old Cypriot businesswoman, suspected in a case involving an inmate at the Central Prison, have appealed to the Supreme Court seeking annulment of the search warrant executed at their residence on June 26, 2025.

Legal representation was undertaken by the team of Ilias A. Stefanou D.E.P.E., with Ilias A. Stefanou, Giannis Nearhou, and Foivi Mala.

Police claimed the residence was used to conceal evidence of illegal activities. The defense challenged the sufficiency of the evidence presented to the Court.

The Supreme Court accepted the request, ruling that there is a debatable issue regarding the sufficiency of the testimony. The case concerns a criminal investigation with arrests, including the businesswoman, her parents, her brother, the convict, a 40-year-old, and a prison guard.

In previous decisions, the Supreme Court allowed the 37-year-old to challenge the validity of two search warrants concerning her home and bank safe deposit boxes. The arrestees were referred to trial, with the hearing scheduled for 10/3/2025.
