1st URBAN FOREST JAZZ FESTIVAL in Dionysos Forest

The 1st URBAN FOREST JAZZ FESTIVAL will take place in the Ancient Forest of Dionysos from Friday, September 12th to Sunday, September 14th. The festival is organized in collaboration with the Region of Attica and the Municipality of Dionysos.

Four leading artistic groups of jazz musicians, contemporary dance performers, and acrobats will participate in the festival. The festival also includes youth groups with talents from the Greek jazz scene.

The Jazz Solidarity Network inaugurates the festival, which includes modern jazz, bebop, hardbop, jazz funk, jazz punk, electronics, traditional sounds, sound design, experimental, noise, improvised vocals, cinematic, ethio jazz, and dance performances.

Participants include: MOb Trio, Sakis Tsinoukas, Vasiliki Konstantellou, Haris Lambrakis, Vyronas Dolas, Fotis Siotas, Gian Van Angelopoulos, Kostis Christodoulou, Paraskevas Kitsos, Kleon Antoniou, Petros Nikolidis, and ki omΩs KINEITAI.

Part of the proceeds will be used to support new productions and tours of emerging JSN artists abroad. Admission is free.
