Angelos Theodorakis: 'I was afraid to approach Mikis Theodorakis'

Angelos Theodorakis, grandson of Mikis Theodorakis, spoke about his relationship with his grandfather on the show 'Buongiorno'. He said he felt awe towards him, understanding the magnitude of his personality.

'While I could discern a very sweet person with a huge heart who had so much love, I wanted my grandfather, the relative grandfather. I felt awe and maybe a little fear. I was afraid to approach him because I could understand his size,' he said characteristically.

Angelos Theodorakis also revealed that he shared the same birthday date with his grandfather, which was of particular importance to him. Regarding his first steps in music, he stressed that he did not ask for support from his grandfather.

Finally, he referred to his relationship with his ex-wife, emphasizing that they have created a family model based on mutual support and friendship.
