"Agroποιητική: Lands/Bodies": Exhibition at the State Gallery of Contemporary Art

The group exhibition "Agroποιητική: Lands/Bodies", as part of the Cultural Program of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, is hosted at the State Gallery of Contemporary Art (formerly SPEL).

Curated by Dr. Elena Parpa, the exhibition brings together works from the 1930s to the present day, with the participation of more than fifty artists. The exhibition examines the relationship between language and land, as well as issues of feminist co-creation.

The exhibition, which opened on January 30, 2026, will run until June 30. Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, Sunday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

The exhibition takes place at the "Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art" (State Gallery of Contemporary Art – SPEL- 22479600).
