"Bring Her Back": New Horror Film by Cyprus-Origin Philippou Brothers

The highly anticipated film "Bring Her Back" by Greek-Australian brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, of Cypriot descent, is released in Cyprus cinemas on August 21. It is a supernatural horror thriller starring Sally Hawkins.

The film is the second by the Philippou brothers, following the success of "Talk To Me" (2022). The brothers, born in Adelaide in 1992, have Cypriot and Greek origins. They started as youtubers with the RackaRacka channel.

In an interview, the Philippous stated that their Cypriot grandfather played a significant role in their aesthetics, as he allowed them to watch movies unsuitable for their age.

The film's plot concerns two half-siblings who are orphaned and forced to live with a foster mother, revealing a dark ritual.

The film has a budget of $15 million and revenues exceeding $32 million worldwide.
