President Inaugurates Exhibition on 70 Years of EOKA

The President of the Republic inaugurated the photo and newspaper exhibition titled "70 Years of EOKA 1955-1959" at the old Nicosia Town Hall. The exhibition is organized by the Press and Information Office in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior.

In his address, President Christodoulides emphasized that the EOKA struggle led to the statehood of Cyprus, and that the Republic of Cyprus is its greatest negotiating power. He also expressed hope for the resumption of negotiations to resolve the Cyprus issue.

The exhibition includes photographic and audiovisual material from the newspaper archive, the Press and Information Office, and RIK. It will be open to the public from tomorrow until December 12.
