Ten years have passed since the death of actor Yannis Voglis, who passed away on April 20, 2016.

Yannis Voglis, born in Athens on September 30, 1937, distinguished himself in theater, cinema, and television. He studied at the Drama School of Pelos Katselis and collaborated with significant actors and troupes, such as Alexis Solomos' "Proskηνio" and the National Theatre of Greece.

In cinema, he became widely known for the film "The Soil Bled Red" (1966) and the line "stásou, mýgdala" (stop, almonds) from the film "Girls in the Sun" (1968).

On television, he participated in many series, such as "Erotas kai Epanastasi" (Love and Revolution) and "Psithyroi Kardias" (Whispers of the Heart), and ended his career with the Cypriot production "Se Fondo Kokkino" (On a Red Background).

Yannis Voglis was also a director and activist, expressing his views on national unity.
