The Deputy Minister of Culture, Vasiliki Kassianidou, met with community leaders from fire-stricken areas in the Limassol District to record and protect monuments, including watermills that were not previously registered.

According to Kassianidou, the Department of Antiquities has already begun recording damage to monuments such as the watermill in Kapsalia, Kissousa, and the medieval bridge in Eliomylos, Potamiou. Areas in the Souni-Zanatjia community, such as the ruins of the early Christian period in Hiliantris and other monuments, were also affected.

The Deputy Minister also referred to the cancellation of events due to the fires, stressing the need to support artists who have suffered a loss of income. Letters have been sent to the community leaders to report cancellations and to consider possible support for communities that had prepaid for the events.
