Kassianidou: Paphos an International Opera Center with 'Carmen'

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou, stated that Paphos is emerging as an international center of opera, during her address at the 'Carmen' performance of the Pafos Aphrodite Festival 2025. The performance took place at the Medieval Castle of Paphos.

Ms. Kassianidou emphasized the Festival's commitment to high-quality performances and the satisfaction of spectators flocking to Paphos from around the world. The Deputy Ministry of Culture supports the Festival with a grant of €150,000, recognizing the importance of Local Government.

The Deputy Minister thanked the Mayor of Paphos, the Board of Directors of the Pafos Aphrodite Festival, collaborators, sponsors, volunteers, and artists, emphasizing that thanks to them, Paphos transforms into an international opera center every September.
