Andreas Karayian Funeral on Monday – Condolences

The funeral of painter and writer Andreas Karayian will be held on Monday, March 30, at public expense. The funeral service will take place at the Catholic Church of the Holy Cross in Nicosia at 12:00 p.m., followed by burial at the Catholic Cemetery in Larnaca.

The Deputy Ministry of Culture expressed its sorrow for the loss, emphasizing his contribution to Cypriot culture. Condolences were sent by AKEL, DIKO president Marios Karoyian, the Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Cooperation, and Filippa Karsera Christodoulidi.

The Cyprus Writers Union and the Association of Visual Artists and Art Theorists - Fytorio mentioned Karayian's significant contribution to Cypriot art and literature.
