Lina Mendoni: Condolences for Christos Valavanidis

The Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, expressed her condolences for the loss of the actor Christos Valavanidis, who passed away at the age of 82.

In her statement, Ms. Mendoni referred to Valavanidis' long career in theater, cinema and television, as well as his contribution to art. She also mentioned the creation of the "Από μηχανής θεάτρου" (Deus ex Machina Theater), in collaboration with his wife Aspasia Kralli.

Mendoni described Christos Valavanidis as a "complete artist and unwavering creator," emphasizing the breadth of his education and his talent.

She expressed her sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.
