Marathon Summer Screenings 2025 at Konstantia Cinema

The 26th Marathon Summer Screenings will take place from July 9th to September 7th, 2025, at the historic Konstantia Open-Air Cinema in Nicosia.

The program, announced by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Theater Ena, includes screenings every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9 p.m., with a special screening on Tuesday, July 15th.

The premiere will be with the Greek film «Υπάρχω» (I Exist), based on the life of Stelios Kazantzidis.

The program also includes award-winning films such as: «Maria», «All We Imagine As Light», «All Shall Be Well», «Tatami», «Last Summer», «Purple Noon», as well as the documentaries «Honeyland» and «No Other Land».

In collaboration with the Department of Antiquities, the Cypriot documentary «Σκάμματα» (Excavations) will be screened on July 15th. Also, in collaboration with the Queer Wave Film Festival, the film «Crossing» will be screened.

Finally, Cypriot films such as «Embryo Larva Butterfly», «Africa Stat» and «Athens Midnight Radio», as well as the children's film «Lars Is LOL», will be screened.
