Gabriel Exhibition Cancelled After Backlash

The Blue Iris Gallery has cancelled the "Antisystemic Art" exhibition by Giorgos Gabriel after a public backlash.

In a statement, the gallery said that "understanding that the 'Antisystemic Art' exhibition has caused opposition from a section of society, it decided to cancel it."

The Blue Iris Gallery added that there was no intention to offend or disrespect religion.

It also emphasized that its purpose is to promote Art and Culture and does not wish to become a conduit for further unrest.
