Director Myrsini Aristidou won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival for her film 'Hold Onto Me', a story about the power of forgiveness and overcoming family relationships.

As she stated, the audience award is of particular importance to her, as films acquire real substance when they meet their audience.

The film concludes a trilogy about father-daughter relationships, a theme that has occupied the director for years. Myrsini Aristidou referred to the difficulties of independent production and the need to remain creative despite the challenges. She also expressed the hope that the film will be screened in Cyprus soon.

Her collaboration with the 10-year-old protagonist, Maria, was excellent, emphasizing the young actress's discipline and concentration.
