New Visual Identity for the Nicosia International Festival

The Nicosia International Festival has unveiled its new visual identity, the result of a competition won by the collaboration of DpS Athens and Semiotik Design Athens.
The new identity is based on the Nicosia2030 logo, giving it new dynamism and reinforcing the message of sustainability. Nicosia is the starting point for dialogues and collaborations.
The logo draws inspiration from the morphology of the city and its history. The letter "Λ" is repeated radially, symbolizing light and creation. The Venetian walls of Nicosia are highlighted as a point of cultural meeting.
The color palette includes the blue and yellow of the Municipality of Nicosia, in a modern shade of lime.
DpS Athens is an award-winning branding agency headed by Dimitris Papazoglou. Semiotik Design Office was founded in 2014 by Dimitris Koliadimas.
