Yorgos Lanthimos Shows Support for Palestine at Venice Film Festival

Yorgos Lanthimos appeared at the 82nd Venice Film Festival for the premiere of his film 'Bugonia', wearing a pin with the colors of the Palestinian flag.

This gesture is a symbolic show of support for the Palestinian people. Lanthimos was among the 400 creators who co-signed a letter against the genocide of the Palestinian people by Israel last May.

During a press conference, the director described his film as a reflection of our time, referring to technological challenges, artificial intelligence, wars, and climate change. The premiere of 'Bugonia' took place on August 28.
