Oscars 2026: “Bugonia” by Yorgos Lanthimos Nominated

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 98th Academy Awards, to be presented on March 15, 2026. Sinners received the most nominations, followed by One Battle After Another with 12 nominations.

Bugonia, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, received 4 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Emma Stone. The nominations were announced by actors Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman.

A new category, Best Casting, is introduced this year, while an additional category for Best Action Scenes will be added at the 100th Awards in 2028.
