Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino stated that movies shouldn't be perfect, just like life isn't. The statement was made during the awarding of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

Sorrentino is preparing for the world premiere of his new film 'La Grazia', which will compete for the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.

During a masterclass at the Sarajevo Film Festival, Sorrentino spoke about his approach to cinema, emphasizing that his films always start with people and their struggles. He stated: 'My films are about emotions, not zombies or other disasters. They depict people, their struggles, their inner world'.

Sorrentino was honored with the 'Heart of Sarajevo' award in recognition of his contribution to cinema.
