Heraklion Cultural Conference Center: New Program Featuring Opera, Theater, and Dance

The Heraklion Cultural Conference Center (PSKH) presented its new program, which includes 98 events and 41 productions. The events will involve 750 contributors.

The program includes operas such as "Madama Butterfly" and "Pagliacci," symphonic music concerts (such as Mozart's "Requiem"), a tribute to Mikis Theodorakis's 100th anniversary with Maria Farantouri, dance evenings, theater for children by Karmen Rouggeri, guitar and piano festivals, and the International Philosophical Film Festival.

Artistic director Myron Michaelidis emphasized the new collaborations with the Slovenian National Opera, the Lecce Opera, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Athens State Orchestra, and the Thessaloniki State Orchestra.

The Mayor of Heraklion, Alexis Kalokairinos, mentioned the resolution of financial issues, ensuring the creative continuity of the PSKH.
