Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Announces Artistic Director Position

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation has announced an opening for the position of Artistic Director. The collaboration agreement will be for a fixed term of 28 months, commencing on December 1, 2025.

The remuneration is €52,000 per year (including VAT) for artistic director services only, and €60,000 per year (including VAT) if the contract also includes conductor services.

A prerequisite is that the candidate's permanent base must be Cyprus for the duration of the collaboration. Applications must be submitted electronically by October 10, 2025.

Candidates must be citizens of the Republic of Cyprus or an EU member state. Applications from third-country nationals are also accepted, provided they hold a valid work permit in Cyprus.

A minimum of five years of experience in a managerial position in a musical-cultural organization and a recognized university degree in music or cultural management are required.
