An easy, nutritious, and delicious recipe for pea hummus, a variation of traditional hummus.

Ingredients:

  • 250g boiled peas
  • 150g boiled chickpeas
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt, pepper

Instructions:

  1. Boil the peas in salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a blender, combine the peas, chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, basil, cumin, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and serve.

Pea hummus is a perfect accompaniment to many dishes.
