Takis: The Jewelry You 'Vibrate' Before Wearing

An exhibition dedicated to Takis, a Greek artist known for his kinetic sculptures and jewelry, will be held in the summer of 2025 in Athens and Andros, titled *Takis 1 apeiro*, commemorating 100 years since his birth.
Takis, whose real name was Panagiotis Vassilakis, became known for his kinetic sculptures and 'wearable sculptures', such as torques, rings, and bracelets with magnetic fields. Rebeka Kamhi and Eleni Psychouli wore Takis jewelry in the 90s.
The exhibition in Athens will showcase works related to magnetism, such as Télésculptures, Télélumières, and musical sculptures. In Andros, the focus will be on Signals, Idols, Erotic Sculptures, and jewelry.
The Takis Foundation - Research Center for Art and Science is actively involved in organizing the exhibition.
