The Deputy Ministry of Culture expressed its sorrow for the death of Andros Pavlidis, noting his significant contribution to the cultural and historical recording of Cyprus.

Andros Pavlidis worked at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (RIK) from 1968, as a director, producer and director of television programs. He contributed to the cultivation of historical consciousness with documentaries such as the series "The History of Cyprus" and "Testimonies".

The Deputy Ministry of Culture recognized his dedication to the research of Cypriot history, as well as the creation of the Great Cypriot Encyclopedia, which was published in 15 volumes and received international recognition.

Andros Pavlidis' contribution was recognized with an honorary grant from the Cypriot state and a special event by RIK.

The Deputy Ministry of Culture described him as "a man with a passion for Cyprus, its history and culture."
