Milan Mourns the Death of Giorgio Armani

Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani passed away on Thursday, his company announced. The Armani Group expressed deep sorrow for the loss of its creator and founder.
Armani, 91, was synonymous with Italian style and elegance, combining design talent and business acumen. His company had an annual turnover of approximately 2.3 billion euros.
Due to health issues, he had withdrawn from the shows at Milan Men's Fashion Week in June. Known as 'Re Giorgio', he oversaw every detail of his collections.
According to the company, a funeral hall will be set up on Saturday and Sunday in Milan, followed by a private funeral at a later date.
