The famous Manneken Pis statue in Brussels donned a Cypriot 'vraka' (traditional trousers), honoring the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The bronze statue, created by Jerome Duquesnoy the Elder in 1618, has worn over 1000 different costumes. This time, it wore the traditional Cypriot attire, which symbolizes the history and identity of Cyprus.

The Deputy Minister of Culture distributed Cypriot citrus fruits to passersby, promoting cultural dialogue.
