Christodoulides and Mattarella inaugurate archaeological exhibition in Rome

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, inaugurated an archaeological exhibition titled "Cyprus and Italy: Shared Cultural Identities at the Dawn of History" at Castel Sant’ Angelo in Rome.
The exhibition, curated by Dr. Anastasia Christophilopoulou, showcases the shared cultural heritage of Cyprus, Sicily, and Sardinia through 120 archaeological artifacts. One of the most important exhibits is a copper talent in the shape of an oxhide from Sardinia, made of Cypriot copper.
The exhibition, which will run until June 30, 2026, is co-organized by the Cypriot Presidency, the Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Ministry of Culture of Italy.
The inauguration was also attended by Konstantinos Kombos, Lina Kassianidou, Alessandro Giuli, Giannis Antoniou, Giorgos Christofidis, Massimo Osanna, and Roberto Gualtieri.
