Composer Christos Leontis presents "Aristophania" at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on September 1st, a musical retrospective of Aristophanes' comedies.

The performance features Stamatis Kraounakis, who plays Aristophanes, as well as Tasis Christogiannopoulos, Ioanna Forti, Angeliki Toubanaki, Petros Damoulis, and Klavdia.

Christos Leontis mentions that the performance is based on the music he wrote for performances of the Art Theater and the National Theater at Epidaurus. He also notes his collaboration with Stamatis Kraounakis, whom he admires and gave freedom to improvise.

Leontis emphasizes the timelessness of Aristophanes' words and their relevance, as his satire concerns issues such as immorality, demagoguery, and war.

Three choirs and two orchestras participate in the performance, including the Christos Leontis Popular Orchestra and the Polis Ensemble.
