August 15, 2025: Which Supermarkets Are Open on the Holiday

August 15th is a mandatory holiday, and most supermarkets and stores remain closed. However, there are exceptions.

Shop&go supermarkets (AB Vassilopoulos) and OK Market may be open in some areas. Also, most mini-markets will be open, as on Sundays.

Kritikos stores will be closed, with some exceptions. Lidl will be closed except for stores in Katerini, Leptokarya, and Ierapetra.

Sklavenitis, Masoutis, Market in, My Market, and Galaxias supermarkets will be closed.

It is recommended to contact the store before visiting to confirm opening hours.

Retail stores and shopping centers are also closed.
