24-Hour Strike at EAC from Midnight: Possible Sufficiency Issues

EAC employees are proceeding with a 24-hour strike from midnight on Thursday (23/04), with unions not ruling out escalating measures. The reason is energy problems and the lack of solutions, according to EPOPAH President, Kyriakos Tafounas.
In a meeting with the Minister of Energy, the unions raised issues of energy sufficiency, the upgrade of the Dekeleia station, and the concession of halitic land for RES. Kyriakos Tafounas expressed dissatisfaction with the answers received, while the Minister of Energy, Michalis Damianos, replied that the problems cannot be solved immediately and that those involved in the energy sector for the last 15 years are responsible.
During the strike, security personnel will be present to handle damages. There may be sufficiency issues due to the strike at the Dekeleia station.
