Deadlock in ATA Talks: RIK Reports Reasons for Failure

Hours-long efforts by the Ministers of Labor and Finance to reach an agreement on the ATA (Automatic Cost of Living Adjustment) have been unsuccessful. According to RIK (CyBC), the employers' side requested additional compensatory measures, and disagreements arose regarding the wording of the agreement.
The Minister of Labor, Yiannis Panagiotou, described the meetings as constructive, emphasizing that a framework of convergences has been formed. However, differences between the social partners remain.
