Farmers to Protest with Tractors Outside KOAP Offices

Farmers and agricultural organizations are planning a dynamic protest with tractors outside the central offices of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (KOAP) in Nicosia on Monday, February 16, 2026.

The Pancyprian Grain Producers Organization and other agricultural organizations aim to highlight the problems faced by farmers and demand their immediate resolution.

According to a statement, farmers are facing recurring problems that affect their income and the sustainability of the agricultural sector. Despite assurances of subsidy payments, many farmers have not been paid or have suffered unjustified deductions.

The organizers are calling on farmers to participate in the mobilization, demanding solutions to the problems of the agricultural sector.
