EAC: Additional 30MW from Vasilikos Unit 3

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) announced that the demand for electricity is being compensated by increasing the availability from production unit 3 at the Vasilikos power station, with the production of an additional 30MW.

EAC spokesperson, Christina Papadopoulou, told CYNEWS that this increase is taking place despite the fact that some EAC electricity production units remain out of operation.

Earlier, the Chairman of the EAC, Giorgos Petrou, stated that four machines were out of operation, with one expected to return to production immediately.
