Alpha Bank reported a 60% jump in net profit for the first half of 2025, with profits reaching €517 million, representing 60% of the annual target.

Second-quarter profits amounted to €293.7 million, up 31% compared to the previous quarter. The increase is partly attributed to extraordinary income.

The CET1 capital adequacy ratio increased to 15.7%, while the fully loaded CET1 reached 16.2%. Net loan expansion reached €0.9 billion in the second quarter, with new loan disbursements of €2.8 billion.

CEO Βασίλης Ψάλτης stated that the Bank maintains momentum in all areas. Capital adequacy allows for a dividend distribution of €259 million for the semester.

A significant move is the agreement with Hellenic Post (ELTA) to provide banking services through 1,100 points. Cooperation with UniCredit continues, with its stake increasing to 20%.
