AnAD Training Programs 2024-2027 for Employees and Unemployed in Cyprus

The Human Resource Development Authority (AnAD) has announced its training programs for the period 2024-2027, aimed at enhancing the skills of the workforce in Cyprus. The projects are co-funded by the European Union through the "THALIA 2021-2027" Operational Program.

Key Programs:

  • Individual Learning Accounts (ILA): Grant of €2,400 per person for 1,800 employees and unemployed individuals.
  • Training in basic ICT skills: Free training for 6,000 employees, with ICT certification.
  • Training in New and Emerging Jobs: Programs in green economy, digital technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Multi-enterprise Training Programs: Training for SMEs and large enterprises through certified Vocational Training Centers.
  • Single-enterprise Training Programs: In-house training with funding for specially tailored programs.
  • Scheme for the Unemployed: Training and employment for registered unemployed individuals.
  • Professional Qualifications Certification System: Recognition of knowledge and skills according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
  • Certification of Vocational Training Instructors: Certification of adult educators according to national quality standards.
