EFKA Back Payments: Who Will Receive Up to €4,000

Pensioners who had appealed to the Justice system and were vindicated by the Courts of First Instance are expected to receive EFKA back payments of up to €4,000 for the 11-month period of June 2015 – May 2016.

According to reports, e-EFKA is not filing appeals against court decisions, proceeding with the payment of amounts, which are subject to 6% interest. The back payments concern approximately 370,000 pensioners who had chosen the legal route.

New claims of up to €8,500 concern cases without recalculation based on the Vroutsis Law.
