European markets recover after Thursday's losses

European markets opened higher, recovering some of the losses from the previous session. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index is trading almost unchanged at 567.85 points.
The French CAC rose by 0.05%, the Italian FTSE MIB gained 0.22%, and the German DAX increased by 0.10%. The British FTSE 100, however, showed losses of 0.24%.
European stocks had closed lower on Thursday. Diageo's stock fell by 6.5% after downgrading its full-year forecast.
Earnings announcements are expected from Richemont, International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, Daimler Truck Holding AG, Amadeus IT Group SA, Cellnex Telecom SA, and OTP Bank NYRT.
