Direct Cyprus-Kazakhstan Flights Starting in June: "Historic Development"

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism announced the start of regular direct flights from Kazakhstan to Cyprus, calling the development a "historic event." Flights are scheduled to begin in June 2026, connecting Larnaca Airport with Astana and Almaty.

Air Astana will operate two weekly flights from Astana (every Tuesday and Saturday) and two from Almaty (every Thursday and Sunday).

The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Costas Koumis, stated that the start of flights is a success and will benefit tourism. The Deputy Ministry will participate in the Almaty tourism fair in April to strengthen relations between the two countries.
