Transporters A' End Strike Action After Agreement

The Transporters A' Association decided to end strike action following a meeting with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides.

During the meeting, it was agreed that the amending regulations of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Laws of 1972 to 2025 would be approved at the next session of the Council of Ministers.

Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis stated that the heads of the Transporters A' Associations discussed the reasons for the strike action with President Christodoulides and Minister of Transport Alexis Vafeadis.

The Council of Ministers will approve the amending regulations on November 11, 2025. Following communication with Marinos Mousiouttas, the regulations will be submitted to Parliament as a matter of urgency and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic.
